Answers to your questions about mobile car detailing, cleaning and paint protection with Formel7 in Zurich and Aargau.
Yes. Formel7 comes directly to your home, workplace or garage and brings all equipment and products. Work in an underground garage is usually possible if there is enough space and a power socket nearby.
Formel7 serves the cantons of Zurich, Aargau and Zug, including the city of Zurich. On request, Formel7 can also work anywhere in Switzerland for an individual travel surcharge. If you are unsure whether your location is covered, write to info@formel7.ch.
Mobile car detailing by Formel7 costs from CHF 249 (interior refresh, small car) to CHF 2270 (Signature package, large car). The price depends on the package and the vehicle class: small, medium or large car. Examples for a small car: exterior protection CHF 499, deep interior cleaning CHF 549, Interior & Exterior Premium CHF 1039. All prices are listed on the Services page with no hidden costs.
Depending on the package, Formel7 needs between 2 and 12 hours: interior refresh 2 to 3 hours, exterior protection 3.5 to 4 hours, deep interior cleaning 4 to 5 hours, Interior & Exterior Premium 7 to 8 hours, Glanz Detailing 9 to 10 hours and Signature 10 to 12 hours. For packages with paint correction, plan for the whole day.
You do not need a water connection, but you do need a standard 230-volt socket within about 40 metres. Formel7 brings the water for steam cleaning and cleans the exterior waterless, with no hose and no wastewater, so your garage stays dry. Please remove personal belongings from the vehicle and leave enough space for all doors to open.
Formel7 removes odours with dry steam of up to 170 °C, without aggressive chemicals and without unnecessary moisture. The hot steam penetrates upholstery, seams and air vents, loosens dirt, reduces bacteria and neutralises odours. Dry steam is included in the Interior Premium, Interior & Exterior Premium and Signature packages, and as a free extra in the interior refresh.
Yes. Depending on the package, fabric seats are deep cleaned with extraction and leather seats are professionally cleaned and conditioned. In the Interior & Exterior Premium package, the upholstery is also impregnated, for both fabric and leather.
Formel7's ceramic coating provides a high gloss and protects the paint for up to 12 months. It is included in the Glanz Detailing (from CHF 1290) and Signature (from CHF 1710) packages and is applied after paint inspection, decontamination and paint correction.
The polymer sealant provides hydrophobic protection for the whole season and is the faster and more affordable option. It is part of Exterior Detailing – Protect (from CHF 499) and Interior & Exterior Premium (from CHF 1039). The ceramic coating protects for up to 12 months and is applied after paint correction, making it the more intensive option for gloss and protection.
Paint correction is worthwhile for wash marks, swirls, light holograms and dull areas, and reduces swirls and holograms by up to 80%. Formel7 first inspects the paint with an LED inspection lamp, documents it with photos and measures the coating thickness to protect the clear coat. Polishing is dust-free with the Optimum system and needs no water connection. Paint correction is included in the Glanz Detailing and Signature packages.
Against road salt, moisture and road dirt, Formel7 protects the paint with polymer sealant (hydrophobic protection for the whole season, Exterior Detailing – Protect package from CHF 499) or with a ceramic coating (up to 12 months). In spring, Formel7 removes salt and winter residue with decontamination, interior cleaning and sealing.
Yes. Formel7 prepares leased vehicles and company cars before return, before a sale or for regular care. An appointment 2 to 5 days before the return is recommended, for example with Interior Detailing Premium or Interior & Exterior Premium. At lease return, inspectors mainly notice stains on upholstery, odours, dirty door jambs and dull plastic surfaces.
Yes. For classic cars there is the add-on “Classic Car – Premium Package” (+ CHF 239), and for convertibles with a fabric roof there is soft-top cleaning and protection (+ CHF 319). Other add-ons are child car seat wash (+ CHF 59), 7-seater vehicle (+ CHF 49) and extreme soiling (+ CHF 49).
Formel7 accepts TWINT, cash and cryptocurrencies. You pay only after the service has been carried out and you have approved it, that is, once the detailing is complete and you are satisfied with the result.
Choose your package and vehicle class on the Services page and send an appointment request. Alternatively, write to info@formel7.ch or via WhatsApp. Please state the package, vehicle type, preferred date and the address of the job. Formel7 usually replies within 24 hours. Photos of the vehicle help to recommend the right package.
Yes. The Signature and Glanz Detailing packages include 2 free follow-up checks, and the Interior & Exterior Premium package includes one free follow-up check after one month.
